    They're not required to disclose current employers when making media statements, nor when they're not lobbying.  (e.g. Henry Kissinger, who declined to head the 9-11 Commission to avoid disclosing his client list.)

      Half the pundits on tv are guilty of the same things, particularly the deficit scolds like Ed Rendell, Steve Rattner, etc.

      Ask them straight up, how do you earn a living? And does that work touch upon the areas on which you comment, ostensibly as an impartial observer?
