    You're right--it's important to be clear when talking about legal theories and the terms describing them, and in that respect it's important to make sure a) you understand the terms and b) apply them correctly, in the correct context.

    But when I read your comment I took it as focusing on a minor piece of it (Unitary Executive) at the expense of the larger issue (the Executive Branch endorsing the idea that you can assassinate American Citizens without due process), and then following up with "well, maybe they'll let the families sue."

    So my previous sarcasm was based in anger, because it looked to me like you were dodging the point in order to focus on something that was a detail used in support of the point. On reflection, out of the heat of the moment, your observation is still valid.
