    Worker training by employers is almost non existant in the USA.  Big companies, like ATT. used to have huge budgets and facilities for training new workers.  Now?  Not so much.  You had better come to them prepared or they are not interested.  Investing in the workforce is not even a consideration.  In fact, even insuring that your workers are healthy enough to work (health care) is not an issue for most bosses.  
    The injustice of it all is infuriating, but it is also counterproductive for the employers.   Employment makes the economy work.  If people don't work they don't buy and business fail.  Seems like a no brainer but I think greed causes brain damage somehow.
