    Plausible deniability?  He's running a business but doesn't know from whence a major revenue source originates?  He has deniability; he can deny it all day.  It's not plausible, though.

    If these guys are competent enough to earn tens of millions of dollars a year, they're competent enough to face the music when they get caught coddling some of the most violent criminals in the world.
