    It is a petty and childish way of telling Obama who's boss, and how things will go for him in the next 2 years.

    How are we going to feel if they do this to a SCOTUS appointment?

      They pay no price.  I can easily seeing a Republican blood pact to filibuster every Supreme Court nominee for the next four years, just to leave the vacancy open in hope that Saint Rubio soon will be there to fill it.

      •  Marco Rubio will never be the nominee because (4+ / 0-)

        for all their bold talk, the crazy, cranky, old white people who comprise the Republican primary electorate will never select a Spanish speaking Latino, even if he is Cuban.  The innate prejudice against minorities is so ingrained among that electorate that we knew Herman Cain would never be the nominee last time, and will know Rubio will not be the nominee next time.  The only group touting the Sentator as the Republican Savior is the media, and that is just wishful thinking on their part to try to sell magazines.
