    ... they already get far too many "tips"... from PACs, industry lobbyists and the like.  And as a result, they do the job they're being 'tipped' to do.

    Not the one WE the People pay them to do.

    We need to get corporate money out of politics.  

    When all the industry lobbyists have going for them is the strength of their arguments alone.... and non-industry lobbyists can get equal say for the strength of THEIR arguments, and no money is allowed to change hands...

    then perhaps we'll have a republic again.

      Remember the old saw: Politician: If this is a tip it's too much. If it's a bribe it's not enough.
