  •  one thing that bothers me is this: (1+ / 0-)

"It was exciting to get a picture of a ballot box being stuffed with money projected onto Bloomberg’s 3rd floor"

    then this:

"My concern was having some cop cars with lights flashing show up at my apartment building and then getting arrested in full view of the neighbors."

Ya know, If the mayor, having been informed in advance you were coming to project images on the 3rd floor of his home, made a request for you to meet somewhere else to protect whatever image he wanted to protect to his neighbors, would you have honored that request?

    •  Just switch that question around (0+ / 0-)

and it will make more sense. Because a minute of light projection and risking the renewal of my lease are the same. And I'm a public figure.

      •  So your answer is no, I take it? (0+ / 0-)

I feel your sense of morals is very flexible, and I just find it somewhat ironic that essentially you are using the power of what the "money in politics" gives the mayor: fame and exposure, to flash your sign at his place, because no one would come out to see it on your apartment window, even if you had the courage to shine it there.

"this is of dubious legality, but fuck it!" Yes I am sure if you had the money and the power you would never take advantage of having it, and would start to obey all laws too.
The ends justifying the means, and all.
