  •  The president has lots of options at his (5+ / 0-)

disposal, but he has to begin with a commitment to do the right thing.  He knows that an approval of the Keystone XL Pipeline will mean 'game over' for our planet...if it is allowed to go through, then it will effect our ability to feed the people of our nation (plus, make life a living hell for people who have nothing to do with the pollution that is happening - as in third world countries where people are already starving).

He has a choice...we all have a choice.  The question is: do we have the courage and conviction to do the right thing?  The Keystone XL pipeline will reveal how much courage and conviction Obama has.

    •  And thank you, Senator Sanders. (7+ / 0-)

As always, you are heads above the leaders in D.C.

    •  Sanders and the Dems had a lot of choices (0+ / 0-)

      along the way as well.

Trying to put it all on the Presidents shoulders and calling it "game over" is a cop out and rather lame.

There is no legal basis for him to deny it - so they make an overwrought, over dramatic emotional one.

Just so you can rant and rave when he allows it and claim he sold out, how you're done with the Democratic party, Obama killed the planet and should burn in hell.

Keystone XL Pipeline - Canada gets the money, Asia gets the oil, America gets the toxic refinery pollution and potential for a pipeline leak ecological disaster.
