    Politics is a stone-throwing game.

How do you propose winning? Shying away from fights?

I'll take the Democrats' losers over the Republicans' losers any day.

    •  I know what I am but so are you. (0+ / 0-)

Your momma wears combat boots. I am rubber, you are glue, bounces off me, sticks to you.

Childishness in response to childishness is still childishness.

      •  But I'm Not (0+ / 0-)

Leveling real charges against a political opponent who's leveling a frivolous version of those charges against you isn't childish.

Your false equivalence is not as bad as that false equivalence, but it's still bad.

        •  But the public doesn't know the difference. (0+ / 0-)

All most people know is that Dems and Reps are leveling charges against each other. Again. I totally agree with you that there is a difference between the charges, but we are in a no-win situation when "it's a matter of degree" is the case.

You are insisting on abandoning real distinctions because false equivalences are easy to assert. You are also reducing Christie's state sponsorship of a major failure that he chose over clear winners to "business is hard".

If Democrats running against Christie can't do any better than you do in communicating the differences, then you're right. If voters can't detect the differences any better than you do, then you're right.

But they can. Unless they do what you say. In which case they can't do anything at all.
