    The American Friends Service Committee is a Quaker organization. I recommend them highly.

    Friends have been dealing with prison issues since the 1600s.

    The AFSC might be the perfect vehicle to host the kind of group you are looking for. If it doesn't exist already, they might be able to help you to set it up.

    The first step might  be to find the Quaker meeting in your area. Contact them and ask about the AFSC. There are numbers of Friends (Quakers) who post here who might be able to guide you.

    I do hope you find the help you need. The good thing is that at the same time you may be able to help others.
