    Many fellow inmates of the Hanoi Hilton have given less than glowing reviews of McCain's time spent there.

    Yes, there was real torture, but the extent of the whole "heroic" story of McCain's self-sacrifice has been questioned by people qualified to do so -- people present to witness many of the goings on in Hanoi.

    McCain himself was a blundering idiot who very likely would have been washed out of the pilot program if not for his daddy and granddaddy having been Admirals. His two not-in-combat plane crashes would have disqualified other pilots from carrier duty.

    His arms were broken while ejecting, not from torture, although he never bothers to make that clear.  I think that's what the "" quotes are all about.  And his story of "volunteering" to stay is a little rich for at least some of the guys who were actually there with him.

    So, why the HR?  Mis-click of the mouse?  Phone surfing?
