    that the money is and was immaterial. People may hoard it; people may spend huge sums to buy mansions and gadgets other people built, but the money, when it is accumulated via unethical means should be depicted as an albatross around those people's necks, no matter how pretty it looks or good it smells. For that matter, the gated communities and secure enclaves in which they hide should be described as self-designed prisons, whose expense we are spared when they seclude themselves.
    What we should preclude is giving these people any kind of public platform or venue from which to spout additional lies. Let them be publicly shunned and let us shun those who would shower them with undeserved accolades.

    Money is a man-made artifact, worth nothing when nobody is willing to take it from unclean hands.

    Would I shake the hand of Donald Rumsfeld or Condi Rice or George W. Bush? Not on your life.

    We organize governments to deliver services and prevent abuse.
