moment almost 50% of 'Murkin voters still believe almost every nugget of that bullshit and willfully gulp it down without a hint of ever catching on.
These cretins might even be trending below 47% of the voting population, but it wouldn't take too much effort to stampede a little more than an extra 3% over the cliff the next time around and we're all screwed again.

Don't ever underestimate the media lackeys' influence.

I saw yet another example given by the 'weatherman' on teevee this evening (Taylor on chan 5, San Antonio, TX).
He started with an innocent sounding little Presidents Day 'quiz': Who was the first lefthanded prez?
Then with a sly shiteatin' grin he says 'our current one is a "lefty"', nuk-nuk. I could visualize all the dittoheads nodding their vapor-filled craniums in knowing assent and chuckling at yet another 'in' dog-whistle.
This is a WXperson who hypes up the simplest weather conditions (a little rain/cold air) into something scary sounding in WX promos for hours before his segment on the evening news program. This jerk even 'enhances' the onscreen radar displays (extent and coloration) to make a mild squall line look like the apocalypse is about to rain down (I've verified this with other simultaneous sources).

I am surprised at how much hype the smallest of rain showers receives from Oklahoma City's NBC affiliate weatherman.  Almost anything can cause a deadly tornado if you were to believe this moron Morgan.  What bothers me most about this is one of these days his constant wolf-cry will one day cause a viewer to ignore his "warning" when a tornado really is bearing down on them.
The CBS affiliate weatherman is just as awful when it comes to climate change denial.  Any time it's unseasonably cool he uses it as a platform to spread the denial disease.

chance to slip in something 'climate denial' either, when he's not making snide political or christofundie comments.

Not that our ongoing drought and heat doesn't make any rain something that you just want to go out there and get wet in.
