  •  A lot of this was out there (5+ / 0-)

before Hubris came out in 2006. The most important parts were already widely known in "liberal" circles. My diary here, from November of 2005, hit a lot of the highlights of available knowledge at the time.

I know a lot of people that read dailykos feel like Maddow's show didn't share anything new or earth-shattering.  While that is at least partially true, I assume that the target audience for the show is not people like us who already know way more than what was revealed in the first episode.

No, that target audience is those who were unaware of the facts or simply chose to ignore them.  With that audience, much of it is new and/or potentially earth-shattering.

Having said that, I will be disappointed if that first episode is also the last episode.  Dick Cheney in particular merits far more attention and/or potential prosecution than he has seen thus far.

The ...Bushies... don't make policies to deal with problems. ...It's all about how can we spin what's happening out there to do what we want to do. Krugman

My vote for episode 2 would be about Blair the enabler.
WTF did they have on him?

I am not part of "that target audience"

But I found the 42 minutes to be jolting. Kept me up much of the night going down the wiki hole.
