is likely to bore down far enough into what really happened here to give the full picture, just as they're not likely to the financial collapse as well, or on the 2000 election, or on the Arkansas Project to take down Bill Clinton. It's not that they're not capable of doing this. They all employ top-notch journalists able to do this. It's that they don't want to do this, because exposing the full truth is likely to hurt them or at least cause a major national crisis that they don't want us to get into because it will distract us from the Path Forward that both parties, although they differ on the details, clearly want.

The US political, economic, financial and military systems have been exploited for empire, profit, power, glory and career since WWII, and no one capable of really challenging this process is interested in trying to. If Rachel Maddow, for example, tried, she'd be out of a job in no time. It's not just Cheney or Bush who don't want the truth known. It's hundreds if not thousands of people, in both parties, and no parties, some of them not even American. The fix has been in for decades and they're not about to risk it coming apart.

Nevertheless, the truth still trickles out and stinks, as it always does, like ooze from a dead body stuffed into a storage locker. To what end, who knows.

Just make sure to ignore the guy standing guard in front of it telling all who pass by "Nothing to see here, keep on walking". Denial is the universal clue.
