    President Obama isn't either, you know.  And there's an extra added level of animus because of racism.  He's gotten three times as many death threats as other presidents, for instance.  I think that's a pretty clear tell.

    Oh, but they hated Hillary too, and of course they still do.  They don't hate her quite as much as Obama, but it's a fierce, rancourous, malignant force all the same.  The GOPers have a real gift for exploring the range and varied textures of hatred and contempt, and there are some brimstone flavors they save especially for women. I think this is another area, though, where the GOP crazies have left some of their supporters behind by their increasing extremism and disconnect from reality.

    Whether the GOP attacks Hillary, or Hillary attacks the GOP, it's going to be bad for the GOP.
