    The nearest border to Tucson in 66 miles south.  You sound like an idiot when you apparently don't know the cities that border Mexico in your how damn state.

        equal Tucson and Tucson, factually, is more than 60 miles from the border.  

        I'll give McCain a pass if this was a poor report and he did not intimate that Tucson was a border town.  But, as reported, the comment is indefensible despite your protestations that Tucson is in a county that borders Mexico.  I'll grant that it's slightly less farsical than saying that "illegals" are crossing near Phoenix merely because Phoenix is the capitol of a state that borders Mexico.
