Probably 2005 (my last trip back to NYC). Trapper and I went to visit my aunt and uncle; took the Q-46 (which used to be the Q-44A) bus from the F train and rode all the way out. I recall seeing the Burger King. When I was a kid there was a local burger place that delivered orders by means of a Lionel train set. I LOVED going there! And the Garden Bakery which was absolutely awesome. I'm not sure bakeries like that even exist anymore; or if they do they're considered "gourmet" and are really pricey.

The Burlington Coat Factory is probably what had been the Mays (fairly big regional chain once upon a time; they may even have had locations as far south as Philly).

      Where you caught the bus.

It's amazign how those bakeries have disappeared.  Yes, if it is actually baked there, and not a chain, it is somehow "gourmet".
