    your roots.  I think Africans were the only people who came to this country against their wills, and were kept by force.  I could be wrong, but I don't think so!  As an African American, I can only go back two, maybe three generations.  It saddens me that I know what I am, but I cannot trace who I am.  I know that I have African, Swedish, and Blackfeet Indian roots, but there is no documentation other than the word of my grandmother, who died many years ago.  I have a few pictures, but nothing in writing that can help me learn who I am.  I am older now and would like to pass information on to my children and grands, but I do what I can.  I pass the information I have.

    Treasure all the documents, written information, and any other information that you have.  You'll be very glad you did!  I would be!
