  •  WOW! Misleading! (13+ / 0-)

Thing that you NEVER address is that in any given region there is a VARIETY of renewable options, not just one.

Solar (which is being used more routinely in Germany than in America...yeah...Germany with all their sunshine!), wind, methane from waste (pig farms are a HUGE resource), biodiesel, geothermal, hydroelectric...NOT TO MENTION, the most underrated energy policy, increased efficiency.

It is always hard to take you seriously (though I do think under your BS you have some real points) because you always cherry pick to a degree that makes your claims about being focused on mathematics somewhat ironic.

I am not completely anti-nuke...it may well have a role. But when I see the BS and cherry picked math that comes from nuke advocates, it makes me more skeptical than ever about nuke energy. For example...I remember many nuke advocates ranting that there was NO WAY that Fukushima would melt down and we were all stupid for thinking it could. Well THAT pro-nuke talking point went out the window yet I never really heard those who were saying it COULDN'T happen and denigrating anyone who considered it admit they were WRONG.

Why should I trust an industry with such a poor record of telling the truth?
