"OWNERS" want us all to give our money to them.

    (Where OWNERS translates to BANKS).

Look at the list of where our money goes:
    Home Mortgage
    Car Mortgage
    School Loans
    Credit Card Interest

If you look at your monthly outlay and you're a "normal" American, you probably spend 3/4ths, or more, of your income on more than 1 item on this list. Look at what the charge is for interest and fees in that payment. If you make the minimum credit card payment, and the payment is say $100, the interest you are paying is probably something like $92.

We are just supporting the banks. Nothing else.

Stop paying your income to the banks, and we might actually have a decent economy in this country. Especially since the banks have been responsible for at least 3 crashes of our economy since this country formed. (1878, 1929 & 2008)

And, Now they want our small contributions to the one retirement package that still works, Social Security.

Its harder to hit a moving target.

    •  Who forced you to make those loans? (1+ / 0-)

You are only owned by people to whom you willingly give up ownership.

No one forces you to get loans, put money in a 401k or an IRA. And, no one forces you to buy a car on credit or obtain and use credit cards.

And, there are probably a few people out there that owe no money to anyone.

But, unfortunately, a lot of us got on the band wagon and are paying our money to the banks.

Until recently, the thought had not crossed my mind that was what I was doing. Now I do. Hence the rant.

Its harder to hit a moving target.
