    There was no decline in revenues.

    The losses were due to refinancing of debt not from anti-Rush campaign as the diary tries to assert.

    The most important way to protect the environment is not to have more than one child.

      The majority of the consolidated quarterly loss was from debt refinancing (primarily at the CC Outdoors level).  

      You are correct that other then US Outdoors revenue increased marginally, which would indicate a non-issue re:stop rush

       but that does bring up an interesting question:  given the fact that q4 would include October and the first week of November, wouldn't you expect revenue to be up more than that?  I mean surely every moment of available ad space was bought up in every major market (if not every market) by campaign ads.  I know that campaign ad pricing is not fluid and is fixed (exactly how I will admit in don't know), but surely the amount of time wanted in 2012 had to be more than say off cycle 2011.  That said, I would expect more than a $40 mm increase in non Outdoor revenue 2012 vs 2011.

      Again I'm no expert on radio advertising accounting or numbers, so more than willing to be shown wrong.  And you are correct that the majority of the loss was the debt refinancing, but I'm wondering if there isn't a revenue issue here and it's just masked by the increase in campaign spending in 2012.  Would the revenue number been flat or down without campaign 2012 compared to off cycle 2011.

        the political talk part of CC in terms of its real value- as a propaganda tool.

        RW talk radio /limbaugh was subsidized to start and for guys like rove it has been worth trillions selling war, deregulation, tax breaks for billionaires, global warming denial, swiftboating, flawed supremes, etc.

        it is basically a free 24/7 ad for the GOP on 1000 coordinated radio stations. it has been their primary media tool. they will gladly lose millions on those stations to keep it going. but if those stations are losing ad revenue relative to their other stations how would they keep subsidizing it?

        This is a list of 76 universities for Rush Limbaugh that endorse global warming denial, racism, sexism, and GOP lies by broadcasting sports on over 170 Limbaugh radio stations.
