    It's just the excuse.  Trust me, so are the restaurant and the hotel's pitiful claims about liability.  It's never about anything but profit.

      Home meds can be dangerous and there are good safety reasons to not just take them yourself. Turn them in to the pharmacy and allow the hospital to dispense them, that should solve the problem.

        and there are very good reasons not to ever enter one unless dragged unconscious and against your will.

          Myocardial infarction, stroke, seizure, pulmonary embolism, infection, trauma....

          But, hey, no one can make you go to a hospital for any of that. Good luck taking care of those things in your kitchen.

            me if I told you just how mishandled EVERY SINGLE CASE I've taken to the ER has been . . . and just what I've handled much more competently AND a hell of a lot cheaper in my kitchen.  But then, remember that I'm a fully-trained wizard.  YMMV.
