    I don't know if I believe this woman's story necessarily... it's freakin' Oreos.  If it was something more substantial and nutritious, I'd be more inclined to believe she's not just snacking.  I know too many people who are too full of bullshit to take what she says at face value.  I personally know people who steal shit from their jobs because they "can't afford it" but meanwhile rack up huge cell-phone bills and have full-package cable with HBO, Cinemax, and the works.

    And, she is a thief, regardless of circumstances and what she stole.  They should fire her and file misdemeanor charges and fine her for the cost of the items stolen, whether her story is true or not.

    But, all that aside... a freakin' felony?  They're sticking this woman with a felony jacket over such petty theft?  That's craziness.   And it's vindictive on Wal-Mart's part.   No way is this a major crime.  It deserves repercussions, sure, but not felony charges.
