    And possibly most instances, those products are damaged in some way and would be pulled and tossed.

    Wrappers might be torn, contents might be crushed, or they might have been opened by customers and left lying around.

    Deli sandwiches might be opened and not eaten. That happens a lot when you have a toddler, and you don't always bother to take it home in that case.

    Walmart will still fire your ass and make like its 'theft'. Look it up. There are documented cases of exactly that.

      and a free newspaper! heh. I love that joke. Kudos for spelling "wrappers" correctly since the article clearly states she was disposing of rappers... now THAT is a felony.
