  •  I liked the TED video. I was a vegan (4+ / 0-)

    for years until I got cancer. I ate tofu every day but my cancer is estrogen positive so there is some question as to whether I should eat soy or not.

    And one of my doctors (My doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine) really thinks I should eat meat. He doesn't think everyone should but he thinks I need it.

    Ethically and environmentally I have a hard time wrapping my brain and heart around that.

      You can whip it up yourself out of wheat gluten.  High in protein, and you can use it like meat chunks.
