    and have lived in Europe my whole life except for four years.

    In that time I have only personally known two people who were shot.

    One was skydiving buddy who was French Foreign legionnaire who died in the raid on Kolwezi.

    The other was a fellow alumni who was shot by a thief while doing a reportage for the BBC in Kurdistan in the early 90's.

    We don't have a gun culture, we don't have guns, and we don't have gun deaths.

    We might not be as diverse as the US, but most European countries have 5-10% ethnic minorities, and over 50% of the population of London are not white English born in the UK, but still we have nothing approaching the level of violence of the US.
