    Thanks for the diary.  Until daily kos got on the case, there was little coverage of the political restrictions on access to abortion and contraception in the red states.  The citizenry is generally unaware of the restrictions until they, or someone they care about, needs the full range of health services and can't get them because of all the 'due' burdens that have been heaped on providers and patients.

    Medical care in the U.S. is a Rube Goldberg business model.  The politicians make it worse by enablling fragmentation of services and imposing religious and political ideology.

      While the catholic hierarchy approves this as the only acceptable method of planning or avoiding pregnancy, they never actually describe the means of implementing it.  When men learn the mechanics of fertility awareness, they tend to not like it very much, or they try it and don't like it.
