Let's go all in! Come on Kansas, bring it! Test every state official! State employees? Test em all! Government contractors? Test em all. Employees of any business, local school, police department, fire house, city or county government that receives any state funds - test every employee! After all, the likely percentage of drug abusers for these groups is no different than welfare recipients.

close to what you said.  Tho, rather than -anyone- who takes gov't money, they concentrated on all the big corps coming in here via tax giveaways, etc.,  (I live just a few miles from the Raceway in Legends in KcK.)  The latest was the "bribing" of Cerner Corp to move from KcMo to KcK.   Dems wanted to add an amendment that these CEO's, etc., would have to take drug tests before they'd be granted all these tax breaks, etc.  The Repugs shot it down, of course.

I have a job 45 miles from here in Leavenworth, and I'm subject to the sequestration.  Hubby hasn't worked for 5+ years.  I'm terrified of trying to find another job at my age (I'm in IT), but I swear... as soon as my mother passes on, I'm out of here - one way or another.

I fought all these fights 40 years ago.  I physically can't go marching in the streets again.  And my patience is so short with stupid anymore, I can't trust myself to talk to persuade anyone.  Between the National Gov and the State Gov, I constantly veer between being totally blood-pressure-high-enraged and so desolate I can't see the use of living til tomorrow.

I just never thought I'd see my country... my state... in this sad, sorry shape - and so many, many people totally indifferent or confused as to what I'm talking about!
