    I think that's what was meant by "bending the cost curve." It's better than the acceleration of costs that was occurring previously.

    I agree that provider inflation was not addressed. Much more needs to be done.

    I agree about somehow requiring providers to take Medicaid and Medicare patients. The government should have leverage with hospitals. With docs -- maybe tie it to student loan forgiveness.

      especially since student debt is so huge. They may already offer some relief for docs who go into general practice in rural communities.

      Meanwhile, we have $22 aspirin tablets at mega-merged for profit hospital chains.
