    his preferred post-presidency job--or make it that much harder for him to be nominated for it given that he's just violated the cardinal rule of being confirmed as a SCOTUS justice, not indicating how you stand on an issue?

      like 300 pounds to fill Taft's shoes :)  However, Obama is relatively young and would probably make a good justice.
