Pensacola Junior College, I frove  past the Lady Clinic, one of the two bombed in the mid 80s.  It was also where Doctor Paul Gunn was shot. I passed it 4 tiems a day because I had day and evening classes and I lived close enough. I used to flip off the protestors or yel;l something like "Get a liofer, and stop interfering with women's right to healthcare!".

Same people every day. Older, white, and yelluing at people going in or driving by.

The last time we mixed religion and politics people got burned at the stake.

the extremists seem to have morphed with the militia folks and the anti immigration folks to come up with a particularly toxic mix of militant anti abortion ideology which views abortion as a form of white genocide

were in their early 20s and attended a particularly nutty church.  As did the one sho shot DOctor Gunn,  Of course their churches disavowed their violence--except it was their extreme rhetoric which drove them to do it.

What was eerie was taking Criminal Law and discussing a couple of cases in which  the fetus was shot when someone shot the mother--she survived  but the fetus didn't.  The question was whether he could be tried for fetacide as well as attempted murder (pre-dating the versions of COnner's Law).  That led to discussion of abortion.  I was the only one who was pro-choice.
