    that a better Supreme Court and federal Courts of Appeals
    couldn't fix.  It's the Rethug appointments of extremists who in general are actively trying to undo twentieth century progress  and turn the Constitutional clock back to Dred Scott.  The "elasticity" they see in the Constitution is the contraction of individual rights and the the expansion of corporate rights, the Prop 8 case notwithstanding.  My 2 cents is we win that and maybe even with Roberts but I think we may lose the voting rights and affirmative action cases.  But the answer is not a Constitutional Convention.  The answer is to work towards having the backlog of Obama judicial nominees approved and working to expand our vote so federal judges continue to be appointed by democrats and approved by a democratic Senate.
