Madhaus brought up an important point.

ProFlowers, LegalZoom, Angie's List, Quicken Loans are four of the companies that said, publicly, they were leaving Limbaugh's show after his attack on Sandra Fluke, then returned.

Similar to Madhaus' link, here is a similar statement by LegalZoom from March 2012: http://veracitystew.com/...
"We’ve listened to many concerns voiced from our LegalZoom team as well as our customers. As a result, we have pulled all advertising from the Rush Limbaugh Show.

LegalZoom is a company that prides itself on respect for others, and we do not in any way support or endorse the recent comments made by Mr. Limbaugh."

    Then they returned...

I think it's important to know that some companies have tried to fool us into believing they were leaving his show, saying they did not support his hateful platform - only to turn around and buy even more advertising space.

There are also the very loyal Limbaugh sponsors like,
Lifelock, Income At Home/Herbal Life, Lear Capitol, Amberen,  and Regus
    who may never leave.
If you'd like to write a Limbaugh sponsor, you can find twitter, email, and facebook links in the StopRush Database: http://stoprush.net/...
So here's to Quicken Loans leaving - and meaning it this time. (And other Limbaugh sponsors following that path)

"When faced with darkness, be the light.

    •  Wow, Leslie, glad you caught that (0+ / 0-)

I missed the 2012 in the dateline, I am glad you  noticed it, and you're right, their public claims of dropping Rush followed by sneaking back to him (hoping the furor would die down) is a huge problem.

I also note they keep claiming on their FB page "We do not advertise on Rush Limbaugh" as if their advertising on RL two days before, let alone for an entire year, after publicly saying they didn't, and then advertising all that time before THAT had never happened.

Followed up twice on those FB threads asking them to acknowledge that they had and to stop that claim "We do not advertise..." because it was MISLEADING.  They never acknowledged. Not once.
