  •  the war on raw milk (10+ / 0-)

The US is a patchwork of raw milk policies.  I live in a state where it is illegal to sell raw milk but right next to a state where it is legal.  I used to have an acquaintance go over and pick me up a couple of gallons at a time.  When I went to their house to get the milk I would walk back to my car looking furtively right and left before putting the milk in a cooler in my trunk.  I was always halfway expecting an FDA official to jump out of the bushes and put my black market milk procuring ass in handcuffs.

Thank you, Richard Myers. We'll finish it for you. http://stoprush.net

in the USA, after marijuana, is raw milk.  And why?

Because Big Dairy does not want people to realize that their industrial farming methods are the real danger to our health by forcing all milk to be cooked to death so that the natural enzymes and bacteria will never get into our bodies.

This is an incredible story, with an industry lobby that is second to none, that has gone on for decades, even more than a century now.  Meanwhile, autism, pre-mature babies, and a raft of childhood diseases, especially asthma and scroliosis, have become veritable epidemics.

Eat real food, grown by real farmers, who understand health and how to pasture animals.  That's really the best we can do.

Industrial food production in America ruins our health, our environment and consumes more fossil fuel than any segment of our economy.
