  •  the feds have PLENTY of choice. (14+ / 0-)

It's horseshit to suggest they can't change any of this.

It's utterly stupid because the illegalization of marijuana is wholly contrived. it is artificial and not existing in the real world.

it is based on a glorified memo and that can be overturned in the blink of an eye should there be any political will to do so.

Plus, federal policy mirrors the republican value system: marijuana prohibition is largely a reflection of republican values, aided and abetted by spineless democrats, afraid of any change in the wind, however smart and fact-based it may be.

The People DEMAND it and the Feds want the status quo maintain because it gives them more power over states than the constitution allows for, among other petty and inhumane reasons.

Anybody who is against cannabis reform is either a dimwit or a political tool.

There is no other possible explanation. it's not rocket science.

The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men.

    •  Yes, they have the two choices I mentioned. (0+ / 0-)

You did see where I outlined the two choices the Federal government has, right?

      1.  Work to legalize nationally, withdrawing us from the various international treaties that we have been signatory to obligating us to keep marijuana illegal.

      2.  Crack down on the States that are trying to unilaterally nullify our country's international treaty obligations.

I said they had choice, dude.

I also said, and I'll stand by it, that there's no way in hell that our government takes option 1.  No fucking way, ever.
