  •  My fiancee (15+ / 0-) being treated at a very well-regarded academic and teaching hospital. Our news hasn't always been good, especially here of late, but they've been compassionate and passionate fighters (and there's a tiny spark of maybe-hope that I'll diary sometime soon).

    CTCA? Never even considered. They're still real health care, sort of, so they're a huge step above quackademic outlets that really are just exploitive frauds, but that's a pretty low bar to clear. Health care in this country is outrageously, criminally expensive. And even still, it's almost certainly cheaper to get better care than CTCA provides.

    Remember: slick TV ads are not a treatment regimen.
