      The word "cut" just sends people into a panic. Not only are some cuts acceptable, some cuts the left was pushing for just a short time ago. (The 'scrip thing.)

      After all, has not the left railed for decades against America's high medical costs and relatively low performance? It should not be a hard sell therefore to suggest Medicare costs can be "cut" w/o sacrificing performance. Yet that is a very hard sell today.

        this Medicare recipient can attest to lower out-of-pocket costs and better delivery of services over the past year.

        I've said it a gazillion times - I guess I'm willing to say it a gazillion more - or at least until Ryan gets his voucher plan up and running, or my shelf-date expires...

          I am very very happy to hear you personally are seeing tangible improvements!

          American costs are still the highest in the world and performance still lags. So there is obviously room to cut some costs out of the system w/o harming the product. That is the long-term goal we set out to accomplish!
