talked about running for US Senate.

Seems like he would better than Amash.

Candace Miller would probably be the strongest candidate.

take a stab at it either.  Although as long as there's a pub majority in the house, he might not want to give up his job in intelligence.  Not sure how strong he would be statewide.  My guess would be that he'd be at least as strong as miller.

Dems should hold Senate Majority at least until 2018, holding it in 2014 could be a little tough, but we would surely gain seats in 2016.  Also Rogers seat wouldn't be a safe hold for the GOP.

If you're not talking about what billionaire hedgefund bankster Peter G. Peterson is up to you're having the wrong conversations.

We need to get out of thinking like that. Demographics change, people move, and redistricting can only cost us so many seats. We absolutely can win back the House In less than eight years; if we can minimise losses in 2014, 2016 will be our prime chance to give the President's successor a majority to back her up!

We need to be realistic about this, yes, but not fatalistic. It will be very, very hard but not impossible.
