C Levin has so advanced age, and the we can not blame him, but still it would have been better if he would run again.

Now the PPP poll can help a lot looking at this senate seat.

I think that there is a reasonable doubt about if J Granholm is recovered or not. There are other governors that have now better numbers, also V Bernero was not popular in 2010 and now seems stronger. I think we need to see.

Granholm may be remembered fondly when compared to Snyder. She actually did a very good job but when the auto industry imploded there wasn't a lot that she could do to make people feel better. Rep Rogers would be a strong candidate for the Repubs. He votes with the knuckle-draggers but maintains a "moderate" image. However, he is chairman of the House Intelligence committee and I don't know if he'd be willing to give that up. Former rep Schauer may run for governor the Senate job might tempt him depending on who's running. The key to the 2014 election will be turnout in Wayne County(Detroit). Granholm has done very well with Wayne, however, Gov Snyder is hugely unpopular there so turnout may be ok with whomever runs. Unfortunately, mid-term elections in Michigan are tough for Democrats.
