  •  But it never just one thing. The goalposts move (5+ / 0-)

...frequently. Stop Keystone and then they'll complain that he nationalized the entire fossil fuel industry and unilaterally declare that nothing but activist-approved energy technologies. All of it paid for by rounding up the 1%, executing them and liquidating their assets for the common good!

It's so refreshing to see climate activists taken down a notch.  They've gotten a free pass from Democrats for far too long.  The party is over.  Fuck them and their petty environmental issues.

Nice anti-Occupy dig there too!   What were those people thinking?  If they just went out and got jobs they'd be part of the 1% in no time!   Stop loitering in the park, pack up the tent, and get a fucking job you dirty hippies!

The tent got so big it now stands for nothing.

I think the handwriting is on the wall and the pipeline will be built. I don't mean to discourage anyone, but from the diaries I read it seems the state dept has cleared the way.

The pipeline is an enviornmental hazard.

That said, I am not going to define President Obama's legacy with one decision.

The people concerned are sincere environmentalists and its their job to advocate for the environment. Yes, they have moved the goalposts over the years but it is their job to keep advocating for clean energy. We have a lot work to do.
