    It was the worst case scenario in "Climate Change Impacts in the US" that came out 3-4 years ago, and in a Royal Society symposium 2-3 years ago.  This is for 2100.  The climate coninues to warm for centuries from the CO2 already in the atmosphere.  Barring some unforeseen development, humanity is toast.

    We are already seeing the effects, and they will be visible to all but the most hardcore deniers in another 10 years.  We are already probably past a few tipping points (permafrost melting, sea ice melting).  Things become pretty unliveable in some areas by midcentury.  The biggest temp rises in the continental US are predicted to be in the upper plains states.  I'll look for a link.

    The scientific uncertainty doesn't mean that climate change isn't actually happening.
