and insight, RLMiller. Would also love to support your group. Just don't know how to go about doing it. But your comments are telling, and indeed our national lands are highly politicized. No one yet has convinced me of a rationale why Obama continually ignores this matter, yet he is getting all the information. Politicized is about the only name I can think of, as you pointed out. Of course, it's the oil shale business, and did you know fracking is the intent behind the latest push? Can you imagine? I am hoping SUWA, et al., pick up on this diary and use it as one of the latest wake-up call to Obama and the others that all the political pissing contests in the world and the pundits that front same are missing the point: it's not politics that's going to save us. It's the ruination of the environment that is going to kill us. What goes is fossil fuel energy when entire ecosystems and biotic communities pay the heavy price for such a dunderhead's mindset? I will have to find your Hike On! diary and read it, then check out the URL you sent. Any further discussion between us can be presented, as open commentary, or feel free to contact me at my profile email address. Again, thank you for posting your comments.

Treat the world (yourself, and others) as part of a living organism. Everyone and everything will benefit.
