    I don't think anyone is saying that racism is gone from the Democratic party.  It's simply that the GOP has already snagged those who vote on their racism,  there are likely many folks who harbor varying degrees of prejudice that but support left of center candidates.  Those folks won't be swayed to the GOP on the basis of prejudice, else they would have already left for the GOP.

      is that some people who right now don't base their vote on racism might as a result of the demographic change. Disagree if you want, but it's not obviously wrong. And it seems to have more evidence than your view.

        There have been plenty of signal events to turn these hypothetical voters away from the Democratic party on the basis of race  but they didn't leave when other race voters did.  I'm of the notion that support of immigrant rights won't drive them into the arms of the GOP because all the other events did not.
