    always kept hunting guns unloaded and in their zippered carrying cases until they were actually ready to go hunting.  


    Then again, they were men who grew up around guns their whole lives and used them frequently for hunting.  They knew guns are dangerous and handled them accordingly.

    Isn't that kind of like sleeping with your golf clubs out of the bag, propped up against a wall while you sleep before golfing?

    When did people start getting so careless with guns?

      except this time. It's not about lack of training or education. Our father and our grandfather instilled in us the terrible importance of gun safety. Further, my brother does not drink and is just about the best dad any kid ever had. I know that doesn't make sense, but it's true.
