  •  Thanks, Laura. But the heck with an email, ;-)! (11+ / 0-)

I'm kidding.  They are great, too.

But please allow me to provide the WH and Capitol Hill phone numbers.  Folks please put them to good use.

It gets tedious calling, I know.  But Mr. Mollie and I have worked out a deal, taking turns calling, M-F.

That's no quite so bad, LOL!

    The fight is on!

Please burn up the phone line to the White House, to Speaker Boehner's Office, and to Capitol Hill.

Here's the White House Comment Line (live and recording):

    1-202-456-1111

Here's two Capitol Hill phone numbers (for Speaker Boehner, our Senators and US House Representatives):

    1-866-220-0044
    1-202-224-3121

    [These are current numbers.]

Oh, and I think it's great for the AFL-CIO to speak out against a Grand Bargain.

But my question is:  Where are the 'rallies' against austerity measures?

Seems like the unions have been strangely silent during much of these so-called fiscal crises.

Kudos to them, for at least 'speaking out against it.'

But if you're listening AFL-CIO, how 'bout organizing rallies, please.

    Mollie
