had already paid off the first two liens, but didn't quite learn his lesson so now he has two more.  How in the hell could this be a 'surprise' to him?  The Detroit News said that the Maryland tax code is very strict and doesn't give much wiggle room for late payments, but if Orr had already been put through the ringer the two years prior, tell me how it is possible that he, a corporate bankruptcy lawyer, could forget to pay his taxes on time again and get hit with two more liens, no matter how tough Maryland code is?
I would have loved to have seen the look on Snyder's face when the Detroit News sat him and Orr down and showed them the documents.  Then, to blame it on an outside accountant is so ironic it BURNS.
I was willing to give this guy a fair shake.  I was hopeful, albeit very skeptical, that maybe his success with the Chrysler managed bankruptcy would mean he was qualified and competent for what lies ahead.  However, reading that he can't even manage his own finances--by paying the unemployment insurance on his own child care workers--is beyond unsettling.  I predict right now he takes it to municipal bankruptcy.
