    even more than old right wingers.  Young right wingers always seem so fucking weird and misfit, like something went wrong along the way.  It's like this is their reaction to the cool progressive kids wanting nothing to do with them or they're going to "get everyone back" by joining the evil party and screwing up whatever they can.  Every time I see a weird teen or 20-something, I think "Young Republican".

    They're always really smug about it too...parroting the mindless AM radio talking points but with an air of supposed superiority that they are sharing some sort of profound genius with the world.  I suspect many of them are born into it with rabid right-wing parents, because how many non-messed up teenagers are going to flip on Sean Hannity and think, "This guy's really on to something!" and run with it?

      I always found it strange that a bunch of 19 or 20 year old boys would be more interested in tax policies or eliminating labor laws than in girls. I think Freud could have a field day with that.
