    others who have been exposed to HIV, often repeatedly, simply has the genetic quirk that prevents the virus from entering and corrupting the specific T cells that normally prevent the body from getting the array of infections common to AIDS.

    It has been known for a good many years that, most commonly, in male homosexual unions that one partner can have HIV/AIDS and yet the other partner, even though repeatedly exposed, is never infected.

    It has been several years since I read an article about this but there does seem to be a specific point mutation in the DNA that is different in those infected and those not infected.

    So it is probably not a miracle either for those partners or the little girl.  

    Its science.
