    have plenty of platform in this last election, behind the technology curve or not. And they still lost. Big.

    I'm with Georgia, and to argue with Marshall Mcluhan, the medium is not the message. The message is the message.

    As long as the other side can get its message out too, technology is only the vessel. No matter how super duper the republicans become at the technologies of communication, they will still need people on the other end to believe in what they're saying---the majority of the people.  And that will depend not only on their message, but on their actions.

    If anything I would argue that technology helps Democrats more because they are in general less likely to vote than republicans. So the amplification of the Democratic message throughout every possible medium is very important to assure turn out. The amplification of the current republican message speaks to who? Republicans who will vote them no matter what.
